What's Your Coffee Temp?

 I love the movie War Room. It has a such good message about being close to God, and constantly being in prayer. One part of the movie this old lady who is selling her house, is talking with the realitor, and they get on the topic of God, and what "temprature" their prayer life is. The old lady gave the realator a cup of lukewarm coffee becasue she had said that she prayed every once and a while, but the old ladys coffee was hot becasue her prayer life is very active. The more you pray, the hotter your coffee is. No one likes lukewarm coffee. The devil likes cold coffee, but as christians we should not be pleasing Satan, we should be pleasing God, and having our coffee hot. It should be so hot that it could burn your mouth. 

Praying is not just a way to complain and ask God for things, it's another way to get to know Him better, and become better coneccted to Him. God wants to hear from you, it doesn't matter what you tell Him, He just wants to have a better relathionship with you, and a good way for that to happen is by talking to Him. Many christians overlook how improtant praying is because they either forget or they just don't see it as important as reading the bible or doing His work. But I believe prayer is the most important part of being a christian. 

Here are some Bible versus on payer and why it's improtant.

Matthew 6:6 "But you, when you pray, go into your room, and when you have shut your door, pray to your Father who is in the secret place; and your Father who sees in secret will reward you openly."

Phillipians 4:6 

'Be anxious for nothing, But in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God;" 

1 Thessalonians 5:17 "Pray without ceasing," 

Ephesians 6:18 "praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, being watchful to this end with all perseverance and supplication for all the saints-" 

I hope this encourages you all to pray everyday, all day.
