 Who are we in Christ?

As Christ follows are are called to be a reflection of His character, you may be asking yourself what is His character? Well....in Matthew 11:29 He says “Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls.”  So here he talks about being gentle, and humble at heart,   “His mouth is sweetness itself; he is altogether lovely....Song of Songs‬ ‭5:16‬ , Songs of Solomon he talks about his mouth being sweet “in speech”  and all together lovely, and not being different around family or friends, otherwise known as putting on a “mask.” *maybe to go in the grocery store 😂*

As Christ followers we are called to be different , like this verse “You, my brothers and sisters, were called to be free. But do not use your freedom to indulge the flesh; rather, serve one another humbly in love.”

‭‭Galatians‬ ‭5:13‬ ‭, as Christians we find freedom in Christ, we are call not to indulge in our fleshly desires but to serve in love and humbly. 

“But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness,”

‭‭Galatians‬ ‭5:22‬ ‭

So in conclusion, we are to be gentle, humble, sweet in speech, full of love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, and altogether lovely.....we are not perfect, and we never will, but this is what we should strive to live this was as followers of Christ.
